The Conclusion of the Case

Now after analyzing all the documents in the case, one will find out that the winner was indeed Ann Heilman and Edgar Mason, another child of William Mason also mentioned in this case. Based on the following court order book one can see the winner of the case and what they had gotten through it:

“Mason, G;102; George Mason; Mason, George; Distributer of William S. Mason, dec. Consented to paying Mary E. Mason, the children of Ann Heilman, dec., and the heirs of E.E. Mason, dec. each $218.03 from William S. Mason's estate.;1858 - p. 155 Feb. 21, 1859; Courtesy of Hon. John T. Frey, Clerk, Fairfax Circuit Court        Court Proceedings Index;18-MarRT”

This quote clearly shows how George Mason one of the eldest sons did indeed get some of the property of William Mason, the brother, after his death as well and made his brother his distributer. The most significant part of this quote is the fact that the family did win the case as was able to get the money they required really showing the significance of wills and legacy. Now the only thing is this does not describe what happened to the land, but the requested money that was seen in the introduction will be given to the family.
