<text>This clipping of the article discusses the initial problems the RFP (Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac) Railway Company had in terms of the transport of goods and troops to any of the key battle areas north of Richmond. That railroad company and ones based entirely in Richmond had initial disputes over maintenance of respective facilities and led to delays in critical supply for the confederacy’s attempt to fight the union in the civil war. A major component of these disputes is the economic challenge of maintaining the operations of 2 railroad companies in which their managers decided to use the same railway lines instead of having dedicated lines, thus losing convenience and timeliness. </text>
